A new 8-inch HUAWEI MatePad T8 android tablet has launched in Japan by the HUAWEI Technologies Japan Co., Ltd. This tablet is an LTE model of the device.
Huawei unveiled this new entry-class android tablet, and the tablet is said to come equipped and built around an 8-inch LCD panel of 800p WXGA (1280 x 800 pixels) resolution.
Under the hood of this new budget tablet, there is a HUAWEI Kirin 710A 2.0GHz octa-core processor. This is a chip upgrade as compared to the recent edition that uses the MediaTek MT8768 CPU.
HUAWEI hasn’t done much work on the memory upgrade of this device though, but not withstanding, the available memory capacity is well enough to run the tablet smoothly. There is a 2GB RAM, and 16GB/32GB internal storage capacity on the device.
The slate boots Android 10 (EMUI 10) OS and also skips out on Google related services (GMS services), but has HUAWEI Mobile Services (HMS) available.
Coming to the power, the battery comes in at 5100mAh capacity. Interestingly, a new feature called HUAWEI eBook mode has been added. It allows users to swipe down on the screen to easily switch to HUAWEI eBook mode from the control panel.
Speaking of the optical structure, the HUAWEI MatePad T8 offers a 5-megapixel rear camera sensor as the main camera, alongside another 2-megapixel front selfie lens.

The Huawei MatePad T8 comes in a single deep sea blue colorway. The LTE model 32GB version will be released on September 22nd, 2022. The price tag will be 24,800 Yen ($172.87).
