Xiaomi Redmi 9 Prime is almost same as the vanilla Redmi 9. The major difference between the two is the Prime Edition is target at the Indian market, and yes, it has support for P2i, but lack NFC on the vanilla version. The screen remains same 6.53-inch with FHD+ resolution. It has a dew-drop notch above the screen, and yes, the panel is IPS.
On the inside, the Redmi 9 Prim runs on the Mediatek Helio G80, an octa-core 12nm CPU clocked at 2.0GHz, along with Mali-G52 GPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, expandable up to 256GB via SD card.
On the camera department, the Redmi 9 Prime comes with four camera modules at the back. The main snapper is a 13-megapixel sensor with PDAF and F/1.8 aperture, pegged with 8-megapixel wide lens, 5-megapixel macro snapper and a fourth 2-megapixel depth lens. On the front side, there is a single 8-megapixel selfie snapper with FaceID.
Whats more? You are also getting a rear placed fingerprint scanner, space for dual Nano-SIM with 4G LTE network on both and the Android 10 with MIUI v11 out of the box, while energy is supplies by a 5020mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
