Vivo has confirm that the next set of phones under it S-series is going to be the S15 and S15 Pro. These two will come as the successors to the current S12-series, skipping the S13 and S14 series respectively. The company have also set the exact launch date for May 19th, which less than a week from today.

Vivo made this known via the company’s official Weibo handle, teasing some early images of what the upcoming device will look like. The company also confirmed the arrival of a new TWS earbuds, which is said to be light and endowed with good sound quality.

Early renders have confirmed that the S15 will sport a Dot notch screen, and will offer three camera lenses on the rear. Certification documents are pointing towards a 6.62-inches screen for the Pro model, and a 6.56-inch on the vanilla version. Both model will have AMOLED screen with FHD+ display resolution, and up to 120Hz refresh rate.

On the inside, the standard Vivo S15 is expected to run Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 CPU, while the S15 Pro model will debut with Dimensity 8100 CPU from MediaTek. Certain sources are suggesting that the S15-series might feature customize Sony camera lenses with built-in OIS and studio-level portrait algorithm.

Both phones are expected to come with 80W fast charger, but while the vanilla S15 might have a built-in 4700mAh battery, the Vivo S15 Pro might not exceed 4500mAh. The launch is less than a week from today, and we expect to know more about the device when it goes official few days from now.
