Sometime in August, ZTE unveiled the Axon 30 5G with an under-display camera and Snapdragon 870 chipset in China. Today, they have announced the ZTE Axon 30S smartphone that is equipped with a under-screen camera.
The device offers a full screen experience since it features an under-display camera. The new ZTE Axon 30S has a lot of great features almost as the ZTE Axon 30 specifications. Let us check them out below.
ZTE Axon 30S is equipped with a Snapdragon 870 5G SM8250-AC 3.2GHz octa-core processor. This chip is backed by RAM of 8GB/12GB variants, and internal storage capacity models of 128GB and 256GB respectively.
The ZTE Axon 30S is a high-spec Android smartphone that offers a 6.92-inch FHD + (2460 x 1080) organic EL display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz.
The device is built in a way that it features a completely notch-less design and no punch holes or notches. There is a built-in 16-megapixel front camera under the screen.
Still on the optical structure, it rear side sports a 64-megapixel (main Sony IMX682) + 8-megapixel (wide angle) + 5-megapixel (macro) + 2-megapixel (depth) quad camera.
The ZTE Axon 30S is powered by a 4200mAh battery that can be quickly charged up by the supported 55W rapid charger via the provided USB Type-C port. It boots the Android 12 (MyOS 12) OS out of the box with VC liquid cooling feature.
The device features an inside screen biometric authentication sensor which supports fingerprint authentication. It also allows face unlock. Sadly, there is no earphone terminal on this phone.

The ZTE Axon 30S smartphone is offered in two colors; Black and Blue. The device has already been released in China. The 8GB RAM/128GB storage model costs 1,698 Yuan ($237.07), whereas, the RAM 12GB/256B variant comes at a price-tag of 2,198 Yuan ($306.88).
