Blackview have just released a new smartphone under the company’s A-series. It is the A85, a sibling to the older A95 smartphone. Not to be confused with the numbering, the latest A85 seems to offer slightly better specifications than it bigger number A95 counterpart.
For instance, the new comer has better 50-megapixe main camera, and it booth the latest Google Android 12 with Doke OS 3.0 out of the box. Although the CPU is Tiger T606 from UNISOC, instead of the MediaTek Helio P70 used on the A95.
The phone’s memory option includes 8GB RAM and a 128GB ROM. But since the RAM is expandable, you are getting a total of 14GB RAM. As for uniqueness, non of the two are unique in design. The older A95 mimics the rear design of Apple iPhone 13-series, while the new A85 takes on Xiaomi 12-series.
The phone has a sided fingerprint scanner, support NFC and powered by a 4480mAh battery with 18W fast charger. Dual Nano SIMs with up to 4G network is available on both sides. It is actually a rebadged of the company’s Ocal C80, save for the rear design and the battery specs.
