Tecno Mobile has started rolling out Google Android 13 update for the Camon 19 Pro owners. Tecno had previously released Android 13 for owners of the Pro 5G model, and now it is the turn of the vanilla Pro non-5G models.
The update report is coming from an owner of the Mondrian Edition of the Camon 19 Pro, and it brings a number of new features and improvements.
Talking about improvements, the update brings;
- Upgraded Android version from Android 12 to Android 13.
- Upgraded HiOS version from HiOS8.6.0 to HiOS13.0.0.
- Added new features, including Lightning Multi-Window, Al Gallery, Smart Network Allocation, Smart Panel, VishaPlayer, SmartScan, Screenshot, and FileManager.
- Improved overall system stability and performance.
The update is C18-H816A-T-OP-230629V306, and it weighs 5.13GB in size, so it is recommended to download it over Wi-Fi. To check for the update, go to Settings > System > System update.
Note that Android 13 update is a major release, and it brings a number of new features and improvements to the Tecno Camon 19 Pro. These include new privacy features, a new design, and improved performance.
Here are some of the key features of Google Android 13:

- A new design, with a more colorful and customizable user interface.

Just as a reminder, the update is for the Camon 19 Pro 4G model. The model launched back in May of 2022, and it came with Google Android 12 with HiOS 8.6 out of the box.
If you own any other model in the Camon 19 series, you could still the update section of your smartphone to see if Tecno has something new for your device. But ensure to never install an Android OS that is not meant for your phone.

Hi Brice… hopping that you are well. Please Note: 1). This news is not about custom firmware for the Camon 19 Pro 4G, it is about the official firmware update released by Tecno. 2). If you are referring to the very official firmware, then it is important to note also, that this firmware, sometimes, are released to different regions in batches. So except you are from Nigeria, which is the region based on the twitter user report, we may just simply assume that the update is yet to get to your region. Regards!
Hello, i have updated mine, but having from of the phone not vibrating on picking or ending call while the setting to do so is on. Secondly the update came with new Wow fm which reject my external head piece. Please i need knowledge on what to do, Thanks.
