Huawei has unveiled its latest flagship tablet, the MatePad Pro 13.2″. Just as the name suggest, the tablet features a 13.2-inch 2.8K 3:2 OLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz.
At it size, the Mate Pro 13.2″ is both the world’s thinnest and lightest tablet with an edge-to-edge screen, measuring just 5.5mm thick and weighing 580 grams.
Moving to the internal hardware, the MatePad Pro 13.2″ is powered by the Kirin 9000s SoC, the same chipset that backs the latest Mate 60 series phones. To keep the monster tablet from overheating, it has stainless steel VC + 52000mm² high thermal conductivity graphite for heat dissipation.
Audio wise, the tablet has 6 speakers that comes with stereo sound setup, along with Huawei’s Histen Sound Effect. The setup includes dual high frequency + quad (4) low frequency speakers. It also comes with a total of 4 microphones for a better and noiseless audio input.
As for the camera specs, there are two snappers on the rear. These includes a 13-megapixel main sensor, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide cam. The front has a single 16-megapixel selfie camera, paired with a ToF 3D sensor.
The MatePad Pro 13.2″ also has a huge, 10,100mAh battery with support for 88W fast charging. According to Huawei, this charger can power the Tab from 0 to 85% in 40 minutes, and topping up at 100% in 65 minutes. There is also optional keyboard and stylus support.

The Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2″ comes in Green, Obsidian Black, and Crystal White. It also comes in varying storage options, starting from 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM, and touching up to 16GB RAM + 1TB. These are priced as as follows:

- 12GB+512GB: 5699 yuan or $779
- 12GB+1TB: 6699 yuan $916
- 16GB+1TB: 6999 yuan $957
- 16GB+1TB + (keyboard $ stylus) 8,299 yuan $1135
The Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2″ is now available for pre-order in China, with official sales starting on September 30th. It is unclear when the tablet will be available on the global market.
