Oukitel has launched a new budget tablet, the Oukitel OT11. While the tablet boasts a large display, other specifications are more modest.
Display
The OT11 features a large 11-inch S-IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. This results in a relatively low pixel density of 137 ppi, which means users might notice individual pixels and lack of sharpness, especially when viewing text or detailed images.
Performance
The OT11 is powered by the Unisoc T606 chipset, a budget processor that is used in most simple Android smartphones. This suggests the tablet is suitable for basic tasks like browsing the web, watching videos, and using light productivity apps.
It is accompanied by 4GB of RAM, which is sufficient for some multitasking but may struggle with demanding applications. Storage is 128GB, expandable via a microSD card.
Cameras
The cameras on the OT11 are basic. The rear camera is 13 megapixels with an f/2.2 aperture, while the front-facing camera is 5 megapixels. Don’t expect high-quality photos or excellent low-light performance.
Battery and Other Features
The OT11 packs an 8000mAh battery, which should provide decent battery life. However, charging is limited to 10W, so refilling the battery can take a while.
The tablet supports LTE connectivity for mobile data access and includes GPS for navigation. The OS is Android 14.
Availability and Pricing
Oukitel has not yet announced pricing or availability information for the OT11. Given its specifications, it is likely to be a very affordable tablet. However, there are other budget tablets in the market with similar or better specifications. Some of these options includes the BMAX MaxPad, Teclast P50, and the Doogee T30E among others.
