Chinese manufacturer ZTE has announced the Blade V40 Smart 5G, in Mexico. This latest device is 5G-enabled, but come with almost the same specifications seen on the the Blade A72 5G. It boasts a 6.52 inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 MT6833 2.2GHz octa-core processor, features 4GB of RAM, and comes with 128GB of storage capacity.
The ZTE Blade V40 Smart 5G is a mid-range Android smartphone that boasts a triple camera system comprising a 48 million pixels main camera, a 2 million pixels depth camera, and a 2 million pixels macro camera.
The device also features a 5 million pixels front camera, a fingerprint authentication sensor on the side, and an earphone terminal. The connection terminal is USB Type-C.
Sadly the device is still based on the old Android 11 operating system, but offers a refresh rate of 90Hz. Additionally, it supports 5G connectivity and is 164.1 x 75.5 x 9.2mm in size, weighs 182g, and comes in black and blue color options. The device support dual Nano-SIM as well as OTG.
The ZTE Blade V40 Smart 5G is on sales in Mexico at a price of 4999 MXN (about $270). It comes with a 4000mAh battery, which supports rapid charge up to 22.5W, and is equipped with WiFi 802.11 and Bluetooth V5.
