Android 10 update with One UI 2.0 hits Samsung Galaxy A70

Samsung is now sending out Android 10 update to Galaxy A70 owners, starting from users in Ukraine. The update comes with version number A705FNXXU5BTB9 and weighs about 2GB in size, is based on One UI 2.0, and  brings February 2020 security patch.

The update is expected to reach other countries in the coming days, and if you are a proud owner of the Galaxy A70 currently, you might wanna check your device software update section, perhaps, the new Android alteration is there waiting for you already. To do that, you’ll need to visit Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.

The update also brings new features to Digital well-being. One can set goals to keep your phone usage in check. It also adds Focus mode and new parental controls. There is also the ability to edit the modes that appear at the bottom of the screen in the camera app as well as added new navigational gestures.

Samsung has always proven to be ahead of time in their smartphone OS updates. According to a roadmap shared by the company earlier, the A70 was supposed to get Android 10 in April, but is now arrived more than a month earlier.

The Galaxy A70 was launched back in March of 2019, and features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 675 processor and equipped with triple-cameras; which came with a combination of 32 MP + 8 MP + 5 MP primary sensors at the back and a large 32-megapixel selfie shooter upfront. The device was fueled by a 4,500mAh battery and run Android 9.0 (Pie) based on One UI 1.0 out of the box.
