The long awaited Blackview BV5200 rugged smartphone has been announced by the Chinese smartphone brand, Blackview. This smartphone comes with a low-budget cost in the market.
Interestingly, Blackview BV5200 is Blackview’s first toughness smartphone. It comes powered by ArcSoft camera configurations and it features camera upgrades, OS upgrades, memory expansion, and display.
On the face, the bright (450 nits) 6.1-inch IPS LCD display, resolved at 720 × 1560 HD + 282 PPI pixels and with an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9, supports use with gloves. The device measures 161.6 Х 77.9 Х 13.6 mm and weighs 268 grams, with resistance and immunity to liquids and dust (IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H) as it is rugged.
It’s worth noting that the BV5200 is powered by quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 MT6761 2.0GHz CPU. Inside, we find up to 4GB RAM, alongside a 32GB internal memory capacity with memory expansion technology card slot up to 1TB.
Coming to the battery, Blackview BV5200 has a 5180mAh battery with Type-C USB for charging the battery and also supports IP68 & IP69K & MIL-STD-810H high standards. It is an entry-class device that runs on the Android 12 OS with support for face recognition.
In the camera department, the Blackview BV5200 sports a 13-megapixel camera on the rear side as the main camera, and is accompanied by another 5-megapixel camera on the front side for taking selfies and video calling.
Still on the camera and image capturing, there’s also a pack of optimized shooting algorithms such as Underwater Mode, Night Mode, and the selfie’s Face Fill Light to help record moments in most conditions.
