Cricket Icon 4 and Innovate E 5G announced in the US

Cricket US have just added two smartphone to it device portfolio in the United State of Africa. The Cricket Icon 4 is an entry-level 4G device, while the Innovate E 5G targets the budget minded folks looking for a 5G-enabled cheap smartphone.

Obviously the cheaper option in the duo is the Icon 4, which is coming as the direct successor to the older Icon 3. As far as specifications of these model is concerned, nothing has really changed much. The screen remains 6.5-inches with HD+ panel, and the CPU have not changed either.

But the battery on the Cricket Icon 4 is now pushed to 4000mAh. Also the rear camera is now 13-megapixels instead of 8MP, and the operating system is Google Android 12 out of the box.

Cricket Innovate E 5G

The Innovate E 5G on the other hand is powered by the Dimensity 700 8-core CPU from MediaTek. The model comes in a 6.6-inches HD+ screen, powered by a 4000mAh battery, and also run on Google Android 12 out of the box.

Camera specifications is almost the same as the Icon 4, but there is an introduction of an extra 2-megapixel depth sensor on the rear of the smartphone. Only a single storage option is available on the Innovate E 5G, and it is capped at 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM.

Pricing and availability

Both the Cricket Icon 4 and the Innovate E 5G are already on sales via the company’s online platform. The Icon 4 is painted in Icy Blue, while the Innovate E 5G comes in Lightning Blue. As for pricing, the Icon 4 is priced at $109, while the Innovate E 5G comes is listed at $159.
