This is the full details of the just announced Huawei Nova 7-series

Huawei have just announced a trio smartphones in the Nova 7-series, all having newer series of Huawei Kirin CPUs with support for 5G network on the three. The Nova 7-series includes the Nova 7 5G, Nova 7 Pro 5G and a smaller Nova 7 SE. All three phones come with 64MP main cameras, Android 10 with EMUI 10, and 4,000 mAh batteries with 40W fast charging.

There are virtually five differences between the three smartphones models:

  1. While the Nova 7 and 7 Pro pack the Kirin 985, the 7 SE relies on the Kirin 820.
  2. The Nova 7 Pro has 6.57-inch OLED display, vanilla Nova 7 has 6.53-inch OLED screen and the Nova 7 SE is left with just 6.5-inches IPS screen.
  3. The Nova 7 and 7 Pro has in-screen fingerprint scanner, while the Nova 7 SE has a side-placed fingerprint sensor.
  4. Camera wise, all three has 64-megapixel sensors, in a quad-camera setup. The Nova 7 and 7 Pro has an 8-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with different zooming capability on both sides, the 7 SE replaces that with a cheaper 2-megapixel depth sensor.
  5. Also at the front, the Nova 7 SE has a single 16-megapixel selfie camera, the standard Nova 7 has a larger 32-megapixel shooter, while the Nova 7 Pro has a dual 32 MP + 8 MP selfie shooter, kept in the pill-notch upfront.
  6. Then, finally, price! The Nova 7 SE starts at starts at 2,399 Yuan ($339), the Nova 7 begins at 2,999 Yuan ($423), and the 7 Pro come at 3,699 Yuan ($523) for the base model.
