HiSense U40 Highlights and Overview
The HiSense U40 is a pocket friendly entry level smart phone for the South African market. The device comes in a 5.7-inch TFT display with 480 x 960 pixels resolution. It runs on a quad-core UniSoC SC9832E CPU, clocked at 1.4Ghz along with Mali T820 GPU. It has 1GB of RAM and a 16GB internal storage.
At the back, the HiSense U40 has a single 5-megapixel rear placed camera sensor, featuring PDAF and a single LED flash, while selfie duties are left to a single 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The unit lack a rear placed fingerprint scanner, but you could protect the device with FaceID and other Android locks.

This phone does not deliver on its promise in term of the dual sim network. My second sim does not get 4G or LTE connections. I use Telkom for the second sim and when I use it on another phone it works perfectly. I have tried everything to try and make it work but nothing. I’ve tried changing the sittings, APN settings, restarting the phone, factory settings, took it to the Telkom store and nothing works. This is to bad because I now have data I can’t use and my money is gone forever for what I thought would be a great opportunity to enjoy a “smartphone with dual sim capabilities”.
Well check if you phone telkom or Vodacom or cell c or MTN6
Been trying to use the second slot, but it does not register my Sim, and I’m using Vodacom on my second SIM card Slot. My second sim does not get 4G or LTE connections. I use Telkom for the second sim and when I use it on another phone it works perfectly. I have tried everything to try and make it work but nothing. I’ve tried changing the sittings, restarting the phone and even doing factory reset. Nothing.
Me too, same situation, My second sim does not get 4G or LTE connections, I also use Telkom for the second sim. It shows E on the network icon
I HAVE HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE IN THE SENSE THAT I CANNOT DOWNLOAD PICTURES FROM WHATSAPP, OR ANY OTHER MEDIA. I AN TAKE=ING THIS PIECE OF JUNK BACK TO THE SHOP TOMORROW FOR A REFUND
U40 is a nice phone ,my touch screen is broken please help me to buy because it's very hard to find
