The Huawei Mate X is a premium and highly sophisticated smartphone of 2019. The device is a foldable smartphone, designed like the Samsung Galaxy Fold. It comes with a large 8.0-inch foldable display with 2200 x 2480 pixels resolution. The single idea behind the device is to offer a stretched-out tablet-like display on the go, especially when users wants to accomplish certain tasks requiring a larger display.
Note however, that additional two separate screen is attained when the device is folded; The first main screen, which now becomes a 6.6-inches AMOLED display with 1148 x 2480 pixels, and the folded back screen, which now become a 6.3-inch AMOLED screen with 2480 x 892.
Specification wise, the Mate X is powered by huawei’s homemade HiSilicon Kirin 980 CPU. This is an octa-core processor comprising of a dual-core 2.6 GHz Cortex-A76, dual-core 1.92 GHz Cortex-A76 and a quad-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A55 CPUs, along with Mali-G76 MP10 GPU, 8GB of RAM and 512GB internal storage, expandable up to 256GB via Nano Memory (NM).
On the camera department, the device pack 4-lenses at the back, which also serves as the front facing camera. This include a large 40MP main sensor, along with an 8 MP telephoto secondary sensor, a 16 MP ultrawide third sensor and finally, a TOF 3D camera sensor.
Whats more, the Huawei Mate X also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, along with dual 5G enabled SIMs. You are also getting a 4500mAh battery, which can be charged upto 80% in just 30-minutes, all thanks to the massive 55W fast charging and Huawei super charging technology.
