The Galaxy 51 is the latest mid-range smartphone from Samsung, launched in December, 2019. The phone was announced along with the Galaxy A71, and came as the successor of the A50 launched earlier this year. It comes with a little bigger 6.5-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, and a Waterdrop notch above the screen.
Specification wise, the device is powered by the Exynos 9611 Octa-core CPU clocked at 2.3GHz, integrated with Mali-G72 MP3. It has 6 GB RAM and 128 GB expandable storage versions. The device makes use of an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and available in either single or dual SIM options.
On the camera department, you are getting a quadruple sensors at the back, which is a combination of a 48 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 5 MP depth sensor, and another 5 MP macro lens, assisted with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and a single LED flash. At the front, there’s also a large 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video chats.
Power is supplied by same 4000mAh built-in battery, with 15W fast charging features as seen on the Galaxy A50s, and also with USB Type-C support, and Android 9.0 (Pie) out of the box. Other key specifications and silent features of the Samsung Galaxy A51 are contained in the table below.
