The Samsung Galaxy A71 was announced alongside the A51. It came as the successor of the Galaxy A70 announced earlier this year. There are four key differences between the Galaxy A51 and the A71; firstly, the A71 has larger 6.7-inch Full-HD+ display, secondly it is powered by Snapdragon 730 CPU, thirdly it utilizes a larger 12 MP wide angle lens and finally, it has a larger 4500mAh battery.
The display has same punch-hole notch above the screen, but powered by the aforementioned Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 octa-core CPU clocked at 2.2GHz, along with Adreno 618 GPU. It 128 GB internal storage and either 6/8 GB of RAM. The same under display fingerprint scanner is present here as well as a single or dual SIM options.
As for the camera, you are getting four sensors at the back; a 48 MP main sensor, a 12 MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 5 MP depth sensor, and another 5 MP macro lens, assisted with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and a single LED flash. At the front, there’s also a large 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video chats.
The bigger screen gets a 4500mAh built-in battery, with 25W fast charging via a USB Type-C interface, unified by Android 9.0 (Pie) out of the box. Other key specifications and silent features of the Samsung Galaxy A71 are contained in the table below.
