Xiaomi 12X Highlights and Overview
This is Xiaomi 12x, the cheaper version in the 12-series. This model does not have wireless charging, and the CPU is downgraded to SD870 instead of the 8 Gen 1 on the other models. The device sport a 6.28-inches screen with 1080 2400 pixels. The screen panel is OLED, and it has a dot-notch on the head. The screen also support 120Hz refresh, has Dolby Vision, as well as HDR10+ with a maximum of 1100 brightness nits.
Powering the Xiaomi 12x is an octa-core Snapdragon 870 CPU, maxed at 3.2GHz. The SoC is backed by Andreno 650 GPU, while memory options is a combination of 8/12GB RAM with either 128/256 Gigs of internal storage, but there is no room for external SD-card.
Coming to the camera department, The Xiaomi 12x has three camera system on the back; a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera featuring f/1.9 aperture, 4-axies OIS and a 1/1.56″ sensor size. The other two lenses includes a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens and a third 5-megapixel (50mm) telemacro lens. For selfie, there is a single 32-megapixel lens on the front.
The model is available in Black, Blue and Pink colors. It has an optical fingerprint scanner right under the display, and support dual Nano-SIMs with 4G/5G SA/NSA network. Battery power comes from a 4500mAh unit that offers up to 67W fast charging, while Android 12 with MIUI 13 runs out of the box. The full specs of Xiaomi 12x is contained in the table below.
