Samsung have just announced the Galaxy F62 smartphone in India, a midrange device with monster battery. The battery on this device is same 7000mAh unit used on the Galaxy M51 of last year. The device comes in a larger 6.7-inches Super AMOLED screen with 1080 x 2400 pixels and a dot-opening in the screen for the selfie shooter.
The Galaxy F62 is based on Samsung Exynos 9 Series 9825 7nm processor, with a max speed of up to 2.7GHz. The CPU is same octa-core chip used on the older flagship Galaxy Note 10. It is paired with either 6/8GB LPDDR4x RAM and a singular 128GB internal storage, expandable up to 512GB via SD-card.
Now to the optics, the F62 get it camera from Sony IMX682 sensor – a 64MP lens with f/1.8 aperture, pegged with 12-megapixel ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture and 123° FoV, along with a dual 5-megapixels for depth and macro shots respectively.
With the Galaxy F62, Samsung is offering Android 11 with One UI 3.1 out of the box. You are also getting dual Nano-SIMs with 4G LTE network on both, 3.5mm audio jack with Dolby Atmos and FM Radio support.

The F62 is presently available in India, and it comes in Laser Green, Laser Blue and Laser Grey colors. As for pricing, the base model with 6GB RAM costs Rs. 23,999, while the 8GB RAM variant comes in at Rs. 25,999, an equivalent of $330 and $357 USD respectively. It will be available for purchase starting February 22nd via Flipkart, Samsung official site and other approved stores in India.
