Remember the POVA 6 series that launched earlier this year? It impressed us with its balance between features and price. Well, Tecno isn’t done yet. They’re gearing up to release a new addition to the lineup – the Tecno POVA 6 Ultra 5G!
This upcoming phone hints at Tecno setting its sights on the high-end market. Spotted under the model number “LI8,” the Pova 6 Ultra 5G is expected to be the top-of-the-line model in the POVA 6 series.
While specifics are still scarce, rumors suggest the POVA 6 Ultra 5G will pack a serious punch. We’re talking about more than we’ve ever seen in the Pova or the older Pouvoir lineup.
We are talking about a more powerful processor, more RAM, and a likely bigger battery szie to keep you powered up all day. The camera system is also expected to be a major upgrade, aiming to compete with the some of the best offers within it class.
A major transition we’ve seen in the Pova line is the move from Pouvoir series to POVA series back in December 2020. Since then, we’ve seen various iterations of the series, from the initial Pova 1 (Pova), to the current Pova 6 series. And now, with the addition of an Ultra model, the POVA series could be starting an entirely new era in the mid-range battery centric smartphone segment.
