OPPO has confirmed today via the company’s social media handles that it will be introducing her Find X5 series on February 24th, which radars down to Thursday of next week. The series are the successors to the Find X3-series announced back in 2021.
If exact annual launch date is to be considered, then the upcoming Find X5-series may be coming a month earlier, since the Find X3-series were announced on the 19th of March of 2021.
The Find X series are the company’s flagship lineup, and from the first generation, the initial Find X to the 3rd gen Find X3-series, OPPO has always loaded the these series of phones with the best the company has got tech wise, just as Samsung would in a flagship Galaxy S-series.
One area these lineup have excelled notably is camera. For example, OPPO was so proud of the camera prowess on the last year’s Find X3 Pro, to the point of relaunching a Photographer Edition six months later. Actually, this Photographer Edition has same camera specs as the original Find X3 Pro, except that it has matte silver and black leather combination, making it look like a classic Kodak 35 camera.
Continuing further down the same flagship camera lane, OPPO has officially confirmed a three-year partnership with Hasselblad to co-develop camera technologies for the Find X-series, the same company aiding the camera success of OnePlus 10 Pro.
Moving away from camera, recent rumors has also confirmed that the top of range Find X Pro will come in two CPU options; one with Snapdragon 8 Gen1, and the other with MediaTek Dimensity 9000, both of which are the top echelon CPUs from their respective makers.
We also expect to see notable breakthroughs in screen technologies as well as audio and battery charging pace in comparison to the current Find X3 models. For example, a model in the Find X5-series is said to come with 80W fast charging, while the max we saw on the X3 Pro was 65W.
The global launch event is slated for 24th of February by 19:00 GMT+8, exactly 7-days from today, and both a Find X5 5G, and two varying CPU models of the Pro version are expected. Curious to see what the OPPO has to offer that day, please follow out Google news handle to stay up to date.
