Today, there were renders that were leaked by the manufacturers of Honor smartphones on what the Honor 50 Series’ rear design would look like. Not much later today, another render was leaked out which showed that the front camera design of Honor 50 and Honor 50 Pro are going to be different.
Honor 50’s front design is going to be a single centered punch hole as seen in the image below. The image was shared on Weibo, Chinese microblogging platform, via the account Digital Chat Station. While the front camera design for Honor 50 Pro is going to be very different. It will have a wider punch hole which will be located in the top left corner of the phone’s front screen. This design is very similar to that of Honor V40.
The wider punch hole for Honor 50 Pro is as a result of two cameras being positioned there. The second hole in the screen could either be a color temperature sensor like that of V40 or a ultra wide angle lens. It is not yet certain which one it is.
Also, in renders of the Honor 50, one can see a speaker grille at the top of the phone’s front screen. While Honor 50 Pro does not have its speaker grille positioned there. Both Honor 50 and Honor 50 Pro have similarities in phone curvature and volume/power control placement.
