We have seen series of smartphones that have been released by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer over the week. All these new devices come with their unique specifications too. Here is another release from Huawei. This new device is called HUAWEI Mate 50 Pro.
This HUAWEI Mate 50 Pro has compatibility with satellite communication (BeiDou satellite navigation system). With this device, you can send and receive text (short messages) and location information with a dedicated application all over the world even outside the area of a communication company.
HUAWEI Mate 50 Pro features a 6.74-inch LCD FHD+ display panel that offers a resolution of (2616 x 1212) pixels, an organic EL display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It measures 162.1 x 75.5 x 8.5 mm and weighs 209 grams.
Furthermore, to exhibit a good range of performance, the device is equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4G SM8475 3.2GHz octa-core CPU. This processor is backed by RAM between 8GB to 12GB, and internal storage capacity of 256GB/512GB variant.
To keep the power alive, the smart gadget packs a 4700mAh battery that supports 66W quick charging technology and 50W wireless charging Qi. On this device, 5G communication is not supported, and Google-related apps and Play Store cannot be used.
Speaking of the optical structure, the device is quite different in terms of the camera hood. It sports a 50-megapixels (Main RYYB 24mm F1.4 to F4.0 OIS) + 13-megapixels (super wide angle 13mm F2.2) + 64-megapixels (telephoto optical x3.5 90mm F3.5 OIS) triple camera behind.
The HUAWEI Mate 50 Pro also has a front camera of 13-megapixels (Main F2.4) + 3D Depth Sensing dual camera for selfies and clear video calling. Additionally, it offers an efficient Huawei’s original HarmonyOS 3.0 which is adopted as the OS.
For maximum security and privacy, the HUAWEI Mate 50 Pro features biometric authentication sensor placed inside the screen that supports fingerprint authentication. There is face authentication support too. It has stereo speakers, and a USB Type-C connection terminal.

The RAM 8GB/512GB and RAM 12GB/256GB storage variants (black and orange colors) cost 6,999 Yuan ($1005.66), whereas, the RAM 12GB/512 GB variant (black and orange colors) cost 7,999 Yuan ($1149.35).
