The all new Nova 6 series smartphone that we have been expecting for long has been launched in China. Huawei launched the Huawei Nova 6 and Huawei Nova 6 5G. You can tell how each of them differs by mere looking at their monikers. The Nova 6 5G comes with 5G while the standard Nova 6 comes with 4G. Nova 6 5G comes in two variants which are 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage or an 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The Nova 6 on the other hand has only one variant which is 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The Nova 6 5G 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage variant cost 3,799 Yuan while the 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage variant cost 4,199 Yuan. The standard Nova 6 on the other hand cost 3,199 Yuan in China. Four colours is available to choose from which are Black, Blue, Blue-Purple Gradient, as well as Red colours.
As far as specifications is concerned, the Nova 6 comes with a 6.57-inch display. It’s a Full HD+ display which means it has a resolution of 1080 by 2400 pixels. The device has a PPI of 401 and 20:9 aspect ratio. It’s an LTPS IPS LCD panel screen with 84.7% screen to body ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 990 Chip which has an Octa core processor clocked at 2.86GHz. It runs on Android 10 Q with EMUI 10 out of the box and a Mali-G76 MP16 for graphics or gaming. The processor is also paired with an 8gb of RAM and 128gb of internal storage.
In terms of camera, this device spot a triple rear cameras which are the 40mp camera with f/1.8 aperture accompanied by a led flash, 8mp telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and 8mp ultra-wide with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it has a dual 32mp + 8mp selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture, both the front and back camera records video in 4k at 30fps. What is keeping the light on is a 4,100mAh Li-Po battery which supports fast charging upto 40W.
The Huawei Nova 6 5G on the other hand has the same specifications listed here as the Nova 6. However, the only difference is that the Nova 6 5G comes in two variants, 5G Network and a bit bigger 4,200mAh battery.
