Infinix launched the Infinix S5 in India recently and as usual, a toned down version of it will be launching in November which is usually called lite, that is Infinix S5 lite. According to our source, the smartphone is going to be released in November.
It is expected to cost around Rs 7000 ( ₦35,000) and it will come with a Super Cinema display just like the standard S5. The camera has now been withdrawn from quad cameras to a dual rear camera. The Infinix S5 Lite will be coming with a dual rear camera setup unlike it’s standard version with a quad rear camera.
It is not surprising at all because it’s why they are called Lite, which means lower features. Basically, their aim is to reach more budget users.
The dual camera sensor are 13mp main shooter and 2mp depth sensor, on the front there is an 8mp selfie shooter. It will come with a 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, the only difference in the storage here is that the S5 comes with a 64GB internal storage while the S5 lite comes with a 32GB internal storage.
The rest of the specifications are same, the Infinix S5 Lite still retains the 6.6-inches Super Cinema HD+ display with the screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a punch hole design. The phone still has the 2 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek’s Helio P22 Cortex-A53 with PowerVR GE8320 GPU, there is an option to extend the storage up to 256GB of course.
There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock feature, will get its juices from a 4000mAh battery, will run on Android 9 Pie based on XOS 5.0 Cheetah OS and will have all standard connectivity options like VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, a MicroUSB port, etc.
