Few days ago, itel Mobility teased a brand new smartphone and promised to launch same within the month. Well, the company has just fulfiled it promise, and have announced the itel A62 smartphone in India. The device is the company’s first smartphone to pack a dual rear camera setup.
The device boasts a combination of 13-megapixel and 0.3-megapixel sensors, and comes with face beautification, portrait mode, bokeh mode, pano mode, along with a single LED flash. Upfront, you get a 5-megapixel selfie camera for chats and video calling.
As far as specifications goes, itel A62 comes in a 5.65-inch Full View HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz MT6739WA quad-core processor along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via micro SD card.
The itel A62 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and it is backed by a 3000mAh battery. On the connectivity front, the phone supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, dual SIM and micro USB port. The phone comes equipped with features like face unlock, multi-functional fingerprint sensor technology, bike mode and OTG.

It can be recalled that itel had previouly launched itel S42, A44 and A44 Pro in India, all of which came with competitive pricing. As for the A62, the device is currently priced at RS. 7499, translating to around $109 in India.
