Lenovo has launched the Lenovo Legion 9i (16”, 8), the first 16-inch gaming laptop in the Lenovo Legion lineup to feature a self-contained liquid-cooling system.
The laptop is powered by the latest Intel Core i9-13980HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU, and it offers a choice of 64GB Overclocked 5600Mhz DDR5 RAM or 32GB Overclocked 6400Mhz DDR5 RAM, and up to 2TB PCIe (Gen 4) SSD storage.
The Legion Coldfront integrated liquid-cooling system developed with Cooler Master handles up to 230W TDP.
This system cools the GPU during intense gaming sessions and is complemented by a triple-fan air-cooling setup with 6,333 intake vents, ensuring cool performance during demanding tasks.
The Lenovo Legion 9i also features a 3.2K Mini-LED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a 94% screen-to-body ratio.
It also has an AI chip that adjusts power to the GPU and CPU, synchronizes RGB lighting, and provides head tracking for immersive gaming. The display is calibrated with X-Rite software for accurate colors.
The Lenovo Legion 9i features a 99.99Whr battery, chargeable via the included 330W Slim Adapter or 140W Type-C Power adapter.
It offers Wi-Fi 74 and Bluetooth 5.3 through MediaTek’s Filogic 380 Wi-Fi card, delivering wireless speeds up to 6.5Gbps.
Nahimic by SteelSeries provides immersive 3D audio with adjustable controls. The laptop comes with Windows 11 and a 3-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription.

The Lenovo Legion 9i with Intel processor is priced at 4,499 Euros (USD 5,422 or Rs. 4,48,420 approx.) and is expected to be available starting October 2023.
