There is a new upcoming smartphone from Meizu dubbed the Meizu 17th. The render of the smartphone shared an image of the phone in Weibo but didn’t reveal it’s specifications.
However, the smartphone spot a unique design and the most anticipated design structure is the placement of the selfie camera. The front selfie camera is very tiny and was hidden in a status bar, it’s an under display camera which was just stacked up alongside the network and battery icons on the status bar.
This camera placement makes it very hard to identify, you wouldn’t see the front camera unless you are told where it is. Meizu has been improving their smartphone design structure recently, take a look at the Meizu 16s Pro.
It spot a front camera which is placed at the top bezel of the phone making it slightly thick. Now Meizu is improving the camera on the Meizu 17th by placing it between the battery and service bar. The placement of the selfie camera will make it to have a very large screen real estate, thus increasing the screen to body ratio.
The image also revealed the under display fingerprint scanner.
