A Motorola Smartphone dubbed the Motorola G8 Power has gotten WiFi and FCC certification. It was actually certified with the model number XT2041-4. The report claimed that it is not only the G8 Power was certified, another Motorola smartphone with model number XT2045-2 has also been certified. The name which this smartphone would be called is unknown but following the previous leaks, this could be Motorola’s first 5G smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 chipset.

The Motorola G8 Power US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification reveals that it will be coming with a 5,000mAh battery. It has a dimension of 157.9mm x 75.8mm x 165mm which means it might be having a 6.2inch or 6.3inch display size. The device was reportedly codenamed ‘Sofia’ and it is tipped to be powered by the SM6125 SoC, which is the Snapdragon 665 chipset. The Motorola XT2041-4 has also bagged Wi-Fi Alliance certification, revealing it will run Android 10 out of the box and be equipped with dual-band Wi-Fi.

Like i said before, the other model that was certified alongside the G8 Power is unknown for now. The phone has appeared on the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) database, and it could arrive in 2020. At the Qualcomm Summit, Motorola has announced that it’ll be launching phones with the latest Snapdragon 765/765G and Snapdragon 865 SoC; hopefully, the XT2045-2 could be one of them and should be the first 5G phone from Motorola.

This two devices could be the elder brothers to the Motorola One Hyper which was released few days ago with a 6.5inch Full HD+ display, 19:9 aspect ratio, 85 percent screen-to-body ratio, Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage onboard which is further expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card, Android 10 and a 4,000mAh battery with an impressive 45W Hyper Charging support. We should know more about the unknown Motorola XT2045-2 soon.
