New Motorola phone launched again. It seems Motorola has awoken, the new smartphone is dubbed the Motorola One Hyper and it is the first ever smartphone from the company to arrive with a pop up selfie camera. It boasts of 45W super fast charging and it’s body is made of plastic but at first glance, you will mistake it for glass. The presence of the pop up camera creates room for the screen giving you a massive viewing experience. It was launched in Deep Sea Blue color but there might be other color options later.

The Motorola One Hyper is priced at $399 and if you are in the US and order the smartphone from Motorola’s online shop. You get a free 32GB Motorola G6 or G6 Play. When ordering for the One Hyper, add the G6 together in the cart while you pay for the One Hyper and the G6 at zero cost. Why Motorola did this is quite unknown. Maybe a Christmas present, but i know it’s going to be limited.

Going to the specs, on the front, it has a 6.5-inch display. It’s a Full HD+ display which means it has a resolution of 1080 by 2340 pixels, the device has a PPI of 396 and 19:5:9 aspect ratio. It’s an IPS LCD panel screen with 83.7% screen to body ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by Snapdragon 675 Chip which has an Octa core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. It runs on Android 10 Q and this phone is an Android one smartphone. It has an Adreno 612 for graphics or gaming. The processor is also paired with a 4gb of RAM and 128gb of internal storage.

In terms of camera, this device spot a dual rear cameras which are the 64mp camera with f/1.8 aperture accompanied by a led flash and an 8MP ultra wide lens. On the front, it has a motorized pop up 32MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The secondary camera has a 118° viewing angle and allows you to fit 4x more into your frame than a standard camera. It also has AI features such as smart composition, auto smile capture, AI portrait lighting, and shot optimization.

What is keeping the light on is a 4,000mAh Li-Po battery which supports fast charging upto up to 45W. Sadly, you don’t get the 45W charger out of the box, you only get 15W TurboCharger. Motorola says you have to purchase the 45W charger separately, however, if you have a USB PD 3.0 charger, that should work according to Motorola. The phone can last up to 38hours in moderate use.
