The new variant of the iQOO Neo is said to be released soon in China. I know you might have heard the name Vivo iQOO Neo before, but hey, this one seems to be the successor of the previous iQOO Neo 855. It has different model number from its predecessor which is V1936AL.

This smartphone has appeared in several platforms such as 3C, Geekbench and now, the Android Enterprise listing. Of course, each listing reveals their own aspect of the phone specifications. For e.g, the Android Enterprise listing revealed that the smartphone will be coming with a 6.4-inch display with a waterdrop notch.

In terms of hardware and software, the Android Enterprise listing also reveals that the smartphone will come with an 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It will run on Android 9 pie with under display fingerprint scanner for security. Now the benchmark listing revealed that the smartphone will have a Full HD+ resolution which is a 1080 by 2340 Pixels.

3C certification revealed that it will use a 33W fast charging. The smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+. This is the main change from its predecessor, the vanilla iQOO Neo comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and was named Vivo iQOO Neo 855. This new variant that is powered by Snapdragon 855+ SoC might be named Vivo iQOO Neo 855+.

There is iQOO Neo Pro version in China that has Snapdragon 855+ though, we are still wondering how Vivo will price this new device in China since there is a pro version of the iQOO Neo in China already with Snapdragon 855+. This device hasn’t passed through TENAA yet, we are still waiting for TENAA certification to see the full specifications of the smartphone.

But as it has passed several certifications and listing, this leaves us to think that it’s launch date is no longer far at all, maybe it will be unveiled next month which is already 2 days to go.
