Google released the Android 12 operating system a few days back and it is the latest operating system for the time being. Google attached a dessert name to the newly released Android 12 which is known to be ‘Snow Cone’. Although, this is not the first time Google is giving such titles to their operating system. It is now a habit for them judging through the previously released operating systems with titles like Ice Cream Sandwich, Marshmallow, and Nougat in time past.
Well, we have been expecting the Android 12 from Google when they started testing previewing, and building the beta version a few weeks ago. Android 12 operating system is the first in a couple of years to get a dedicated dessert-themed name (Snow Cone) after the introduction and release of Android Pie which was basically assigned to the ninth major release of the mobile platform.
Android 12 possesses new privacy options, new approximate location permission, and an on-screen indicator to alert users when the built-in microphone or camera of the phone is in use. Google also made other advancements such as the iOS-like way to opt-out of advertisement tracking that will be available later this same year (2021). In conclusion, the newly released Android 12 brings the all-new ‘Material You’ design language and upgraded power efficiency, and improved CPU performance.
