Just one week after its launch, Nothing Phone (2) is getting its first software update. The update, labeled Nothing OS 2.0.1, includes a number of bug fixes and performance improvements, as well as new features and camera enhancements.
Some of the key changes in the update include:
- Fixes for minor bugs with NFC and network interfaces
- Improved Glyph lighting algorithms
- Improved overall system stability and performance
- Improvements in autonomy and speed of charging with and without a wire
- Improvements in the speed of the fingerprint scanner and face recognition system
- New wallpapers and system sounds
- One-handed mode
- Quick Settings widget
- Improved camera performance, including 2x zoom in portrait mode, sharper shots at 4x and 10x zoom, smoother video recordings, Motion Capture in 50-megapixel mode, and the ability to add a new Nothing watermark to pictures
- Improved quality of shooting in third-party applications and when HDR is activated
The update is now available for download for Nothing Phone (2) users. To install the update, go to Settings > System > System updates.
Nothing Phone (2) is a top-mid-range smartphone that features a 6.7-inch OLED display, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, up to 12GB RAM, and 128GB, 256GB, 512GB of storage.
