OnePlus Nord N100 and N10 5G now official; starts at £179

OnePlus has officially announced the Nord N100 and Nord N10 5G smartphone in UK. Both smartphone comes as the smaller variants of the vanilla OnePlus Nord announced back in July of 2020, and with these phones, the company officially steps into the midrange/entry-level smartphone markets.

Both smartphones are based on Qualcomm CPU, but while the Nord N100 is based on Snapdragon 460 octa-core CPU and offers only 4G LTE network, the Nord N10 runs a more stronger Snapdragon 690 octa-core CPU, and offers 5G network speed.

OnePlus Nord N100

The Nord N100 comes in a 6.52-inches display with 720 x 1600 pixels. The display is an IPS panel, and has tiny bezels on all sides of the device save for the bottom. It has a punch hole notch and come with 20:9 aspect ratio.

On the inside, there is a 4GB RAM with 64GB expandable storage along with the aforementioned Snapdragon 460 CPU, along with Adreno 610 GPU.

On the optics, the Nord N100 sports a triple snappers at the back. This includes a 13-megapixel main lens with f/2.2, a 2-megapixels portrait lens with f/2.4 and a third 2-megapixels monochrome lens with f/2.4 aperture, while a single 8-megapixel selfie snapper seat in the notch upfront.

The device is based on Android 10 with OxygenOS 10.5 out of the box, and powered by a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charger.

The N10 5G on the other hand comes in a 6.49-inches display with a punched notch. The display has 1080 x 2400 pixels with 90Hz refresh, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The brain power is the Snapdragon 690 octa-core CPU. This Chip is bundled with 5G network modem, hence the name. The CPU is backed by Adreno 619 and come with 6GB RAM and 128GB USF 2.1 internal storage.

As for the camera department, there is an assembly of four sensors at the back, led by a 64-megapixel f/1.8 main lens, accompanied by an ultrawide 8-megapixel camera with f/2.25 aperture, a 2-megapixel monochrome lens and a 2-megapixel macro snapper with f/2.4 aperture on both sides, leaving selfie duties to a single 16-megapixel lens with f/2.05 aperture.

The Nord N10 5G gets it power from a 4300mAh battery, but supports WarpCharge 30T with 30W fast charging, while same Google Android 10 with OxygenOS 10.5 runs out of the box.

Pricing and Availability

The OnePlus Nord N100 is available in Midnight Frost, while the Nord N10 5G comes in Midnight Ice color. Both phones are headed to the US and UK, and should be available in other regions as well.

As for pricing, the Nord N100 comes at £179 Pounds, while the Nord N10 5G will set you back at £329 in UK, translating to around $232 and $427 respectively.
