OPPO Reno 8 series: storage capacity, colors and pricing leaked ahead of launch in Europe 

The OPPO launched the Reno 8 series in the Chinese smartphone market sometime in May 2022, though the smartphone is yet to reach the European markets even as we speak.

Can you still recall the news we brought that says the OPPO brand recently launched the OPPO Reno 8 and the OPPO Reno 8 Pro (known as the OPPO Reno 8 Pro+ in China) for the Indian market last month? You do, right? Right!

Good thing is we have heard rumors concerning the storage capacity, color options, and pricing of the Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro devices which would launch in Europe very soon.

Now, let me run you through some of the rumored specs. The vanilla Reno 8 has a 6.43-inch AMOLED display that has a 90Hz refresh rate. While the Reno 8 Pro will feature a larger 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate.

The vanilla Reno 8 will have a single 8GB RAM and 256GB memory capacity, and the colors will be available in Shimmer Black & Shimmer Gold. On the other hand, the Reno 8 Pro will also come in a single 8GB RAM and 256GB storage capacity, which will have two color options: Glazed Black & Glazed Green.

Both phone variant are powered by a 4,500mAh battery pack each found in the Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro. This battery is capable of rapid charging at up to 80W. Interestingly, both variants also include a fingerprint scanner integrated into the touchscreen.

The vanilla variant has a 50-megapixel primary camera paired with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The Reno 8 Pro comes with a 50-megapixel primary camera along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. And both house a 32-megapixel front-facing sensor.

According to the rumors, the vanilla Reno 8 will be priced at about $624.36 (€513), while the Reno 8 Pro comes with a bit higher price, which will be around $1062.51 (€873).
