The Oukitel WP18 entry-level rugged smartphone released not too long ago, is about to get a successor. But contrary to what you’d think, this successor is not going to be called WP19, instead, Oukitel will be jumping to WP20.

As far internal hardware and specification is concern, nothing much will be changing between the WP18 and WP20, except for the battery. Unlike the WP18 that was given a gigantic 12,500mAh battery, the WP20 will now a 6,300mAh juice, which will help make it a lot lighter than it predecessor.

Aside the battery crackdown, the WP20 will sport an entirely different design on the rear, especially on its camera module. Oukitel is obviously being inspired by Apple’s iPhone 13 here, as the camera positioning are very identical.

The main snapper within the lens opening is going to be a 20-megapixel, while a 5-megapixel selfie lens will be used on the front. The phone itself comes in a 5.93-inches screen with 720 x 1440 pixels.

The Oukitel WP20 is powered by Helio A22 CPU from MediaTek, backed by 4GB RAM along with 32-Gigs of built-in storage. It support dual 4G SIMs, USB Type-C and boot Google Android 12 out of the box. Thankfully, the usual P68/IP69K rating for water, dust and shock resistance is available as well. The device will be discounted at $89.99 US Dollar on the 28th of May via Aliexpress.
