Tecno has officially listed her POP 5 Pro smartphone on the company’s country website, indicating it official availability in the country. The model is the better option of all POP 5-series, offering 3GB RAM and a large 6000mAh battery.
Actually, Tecno’s BD4j (a.k.a POP 5 Pro), started selling in Nigeria even before it was unveiled in India on January 19th, but there were no official words from the company confirming the official arrival of the model, and the Nigerian eCommerce site on which the model was sported, listed wrong specs all through.
Apparently, the Indian model of POP 5 Pro is same as the African (Nigerian) model, except for the change in model number; BD4a for India, and BD4j for the African market. The model comes in a 6.52-inches HD+ screen with 720 x 1600 pixels, and sport a waterdrop notch on the head.
Processing power on the phone comes from MediaTek’s Helio A22 quad-core CPU @2.0GHz, along with PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM. The phone is given dual camera lenses on the rear, pioneered by an 8-megapixel main lens, while all selfie duties are handled by a single 5-megapixel snapper on the front.
The POP 5 Pro comes in Ice Blue, Deepsea Luster and Sky Cyan. The model support dual Nano-SIM with 4G network support. There is also a rear placed fingerprint scanner on the rear, while Google Android 11 (Go Edition) runs out of the box. The phone is currently N54,000 on slot.ng.
