The realme GT3 which was leaked a week before the official announcement of the record-breaking GT Neo 5, is now confirmed officially, to arrive on February 28th, during the upcoming MWC 2023 event in Barcelona.
This highly anticipated smartphone is expected to feature the same 240W super fast charging that came with the GT Neo 5. In fact, rumor has it that the realme GT 3 is likely to be a rebranded version of the GT Neo5 released in China.
To achieve such fast charging speeds, realme has developed a custom 12A charging cable and a 240W dual GaN mini charger. The realme GT Neo5 boasts a 4600mAh battery that is protected by a 60 multi-layer protection system, making it the first TUV Rheinland certified smartphone with over 200W fast charging.
The phone is said to retain 80% of its battery capacity after 1,600 charge cycles, and with 240W fast charging, it can deliver up to 2 hours of talk time after just 30 seconds of charging. Realme also said that the GT Neo 5 can be fully charged in just 10 minutes.
Recall that the realme GT Neo5 came with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 flagship dual-core processor, up to 16GB RAM + 1TB memory, a 144Hz 1.5K flagship flat screen with up 1400nit nits of peak brightness.
The smartphone supports a larger 6.74-inches HDR10+ AMOLED screen, with 7-speed intelligent dynamic refresh rate, 2160Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming, and an impressive 5000000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, providing users with an exceptional viewing experience. It came with 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera setup on the rear, and single 16-megapixel selfie shooter on the front.
These among other high-end features are the specs we should expect from the realme GT3 model if the rumor turns true, and the GT3 arrives as a rebadged version of the GT Neo 5. We should know more on this in the coming days.
