Realme has launched its latest flagship smartphone, the GT5 just as it had promised. It is the direct successor to the GT3 series, and it comes with a series of upgrades over its predecessor while maintaining a very similar design language. This article contains all you should know.
What is the Realme GT5 smartphone all about?
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and features a 6.7-inch 144Hz OLED display. It also has a 50MP Sony IMX890 rear camera, a 4600mAh battery with 240W fast charging, and runs Android 13 with realme UI 4.0.
The realme GT5 has a 6.7-inch 144Hz OLED display with a resolution of 2772×1240 pixels. The display has a 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, up to 1450 nits peak brightness, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which is paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
The phone also has a variable heat dissipation system max with 20827mm² cooling area, Ice core cooling system Max, high-performance graphite material, and heat conduction efficiency increased by 10% compared to the previous generation.
The realme GT5 has a triple-camera rear camera system, consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX890 main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. The phone also has a 16MP front-facing camera.
The phone runs Android 13 with realme UI 4.0. It is available in two variants: one with a 4600mAh battery with 240W fast charging and another with a 5240mAh battery with 150W fast charging.
Pricing and availability of Realme’s GT5
The Realme GT5 12GB + 256GB 150W version costs 2999 yuan (USD 411), the 16GB + 512GB 150W version is priced at 3299 yuan (USD 452) and the top-end 240W 24GB + 1TB version costs 3799 yuan (USD 520). It is available to order from today and will go on sale in China starting from September 4th.
