Just as promised, realme has officially unveiled the X50 Pro in India. The device is both the first smartphone from the company to run on a Snapdragon 865 CPU as well as the first 5G smartphone launched in India. The device packs a 6.44-inch Full HD+ display with 1000 nits brightness, 105 per cent NTSC colour gamut and 100 per cent DCI-P3 and it is HDR10+ certified. The display comes with a 90Hz refresh rate along with 180Hz sample rate.

The phone joins the likes of Samsung Galaxy S20 and the Xiaomi Mi 10 to run the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor SoC. The SD865 is an octa-core Chip, clocked at 2.84GHz along with Adreno 650 GPU. Storage options includes a 6/8 GB RAM with 128GB internal storage, or 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage.

For the camera, the phone is equipped with a quad-camera setup using a combination of 64MP primary lens, 12MP telephoto lens, 8MP Wide-angle lens and a B&W portrait lens. It comes with up to 20x Hybrid Zoom using Smooth Zoom technology. It also has Nightscape 3.0 and has dual-selfie cameras upfront with a combination of 32MP primary lens and another 8-megapixel secondary shooter.

The smartphone ships with Realme UI based on Android 10. Juice is supplied by a 4,200mAh battery with a whooping 65W SuperDart fast charging solution. The company even claims that the phone will deliver 100 hours of music with 3 minutes of charge.

As for pricing and availability, the Realme X50 Pro is available in Moss Green and Rust Red colors and priced at Rs. 37,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version, Rs. 39,999 for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version, while the top-end 12GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs Rs. 44,999, which is equivalent to $527, $555 and $624 respectively.
