Reports received this week claim that the Samsung M42 5G is going to be launched this April. The date rumored is the 28th of April. Amazon India (amazon. in) has confirmed this with a promo page on its website.
The few images that were revealed have an excellent design with a notched display, and it sports a square-shaped unique camera setup at the rear of the device.
There is no fingerprint reader. Looking at the sides, too, there is no side fingerprint reader visible, which means that it is likely to be an in-display fingerprint scanner which also means that it must come with an AMOLED panel. Samsung produces one of the best displays, so we just have to wait and see.
The Samsung M42 5G may come with the Snapdragon 750 g chipset, which is more than capable. The RAM and internal storage are yet to be revealed, but we expect a base model of at least 4GB / 64 GB. Amazon India also says that the device will come with Samsung pay and Knox security.
The camera specifications are still unknown, but leaks and rumors say that the phone will sport a 64-megapixel primary camera. It is also likely to come with a 6000 mAh battery.
The price Is displayed to be starting from $270. With the official launch date still over a week, we will keep you posted as we learn more.
