The au and UQ mobile brands, under the Japanese tech maker, KDDI Okinawa Cellular has announced that they will release the 5G compatible smartphone, called the AQUOS wish2.

The AQUOS wish2 is a low-cost model smartphone that has a 5.7-inch HD+ (1520 x 720 dots) liquid crystal screen display.

We have at some point written about the AQUOS wish2 specifications. It is a 5G-compatible model that has the CPU upgraded from the Snapdragon 480 previous generation CPU to Snapdragon 695 5G SM6375 2.2GHz octa-core CPU.

The OS of the AQUOS wish2 is pre-installed with Android 12 version. One good thing is that it supports upgrades of up to two (2) OS versions for 2 years from the date of release.

We also talk about the camera. It is equipped with an effective 13-megapixel camera at the back, and an effective 8-megapixel camera in front used for selfies and video calling.

In addition to these specifications is a 4GB RAM and internal storage capacity of 64GB. This storage supports micro-SD memory cards which can be expandable up to 1TB.

The AQUOS wish2 is powered by a battery capacity of 3730mAh to keep it awake. It also has, waterproof, dustproof, and shockproof performance supports.

The AQUOS wish2 available colors are Olive green, Ivory, and Charcoal black. Scheduled to be released on September 9th, 2022. The phone will cost 26,180 yen ($186.71) at launch.
