TCL Communication, a Chinese manufacturer, has announced the release of their new entry-level smartphone, the TCL ION X, in the United States. The device boasts a 6-inch HD+ (1440 x 1080) display, a MediaTek Helio G25 MT6762V/CB 2.0GHz octa-core CPU, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage capacity, and a 13-megapixel main camera.
The TCL ION X is a budget-friendly model for the American carrier Metro by T-Mobile and runs on the Android 12 operating system. It also has biometric authentication that supports face recognition, an earphone terminal, and a USB Type-C connection terminal.
The TCL ION X will be available in the color Space Black and will be released in January 2023 at Metro by T-Mobile in the United States for $119.99. Note the model has similar specs with the TCL ION Z that was announced earlier.
Other specifications of the TCL ION X include a PowerVR GE8320 GPU, a 5-megapixel front camera, a 3000mAh battery with 10W charger, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity options. The device is not waterproof or dustproof and it is only got a single Nano-SIM slot.
