Tecno have just released the Ceramic version of her Camon 18 Premier in what looks like a newsletter announcement by African’s APO – Group. This new ceramic version brings all the goodness of the Camon 18 Premier in a much more stellar and tougher body.
Ceramic is one of the “super materials” in modern technology with high strength and temperature resistance, more resilient and harder than steel. Opting for ceramic material means you don’t have to live with the stains smudges you get on typical glass and metal casings.
We stop at nothing to provide a better, more unencumbered experience for the users to feel good in the hand. We used nanotechnology with precision instruments to create this one-of-a-kind edition specially for you. It is the culmination of art and our specialized, well-researched technology ”said Danni Xu, Marketing Director, TECNO.
Although there is no words on the pricing and availability of the phone yet, but the price should be surely higher than the non-ceramic model when it eventually arrives in stores.
Talking about pricing, the initial Camon 18 Premier with glass on the front and back was priced around $400 US Dollars, or about N182,000 in Nigeria, hence it won’t be surprising to see this ceramic edition go above N200,000 or $500 Dollars when it eventually arrives in stores.
As for the innards, the specification remains the same. The phone is powered by MediaTek Helio G96 octa-core CPU with 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM. On the front, there is a 6.7-inches screen with 120Hz fast refresh rate.
The device has three lenses on the rear, of which the main shooter is a 64-megapixel camera. The other two lenses includes an 8-megapixel periscope lens and a gimbal powered 12-megapixel ultrawide snapper. The Tecno Camon 18 Premier Ceramic Edition has a side mounted fingerprint scanner, a 4750mAh battery with 33W fast charger and HiOS 8.0 on top of Android 11 out of the box.
