Tecno appears to be gearing up for a busy second half of 2024 with the upcoming launch of two new foldable smartphones – the Phantom V2 Flip and Phantom V2 Fold. Both devices received certification in Russia back in April, and have now cleared international FCC certification.

Modeled as the Tecno AE11, the FCC filing for the Phantom V2 Flip reveals some design details. The phone is expected to feature a large external display with a triple-camera system and flash layout, similar to the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, shifting away from the compact 1.32-inches screen on the current Phantom V Flip.

The battery is listed as a dual-cell setup with a minimum capacity of 4590mAh and support for 70W fast charging. The base model will likely come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, with potential for additional configurations.

While the FCC filing doesn’t disclose other specifications, rumors suggest the Phantom V2 Flip might be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset.
