It is no news that the next Tecno Pop device will be called Pop5. Th device have been previously seen on Google Console, listing out the complete specifications. But far beyond just specs listing, it might seem the Tecno Pop5 is already on sales via some online and offline stores in Nigeria, confirmed by a listing on Jumia.com.ng and Jiji.ng.
As per the listing, the yet to be announced Pop5, also the supposed successor to the Pop4-series comes in a 6.1-inches screen with 720 x 1560 pixels resolution. Obviously the display panel will be TFT, and there is a notable dewdrop notch overhead housing the selfie camera.
Image source: Jumia.com,ngAs for the internal specs, the phone is listed with 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, expandable up to 32GB via external SD-card. Google Console confirmed the presence of a quad-core 1.3GHz Spreadtrum SC7721E CPU, which is usually pegged with Mali-400MP2 GPU.
What this combination simply mean is the latest Tecno Pop5 won’t have 4G LTE network, but will offer only 2/3G network. Another obvious thing to note is the possibility of a Pro model, which will offer 4G LTE network, just like the current Tecno POP4 and POP4 Pro models.
The rest specs includes a 4000mAh battery and Google Android 10 (Go Edition). The device has a combination of 5MP + AI sensor on the back, while a single 5-megapixel lens is housed in the notch upfront with an LED flash on both sides.
Finally, there is a rear fingerprint scanner as well as face unlock on the device, and it comes in Obsidian Black, Cosmic Glow and Ice Blue colors with a price tag of N35,000 or $85 US Dollars in Nigeria.
