Tecno Spark 5 smartphone just journeyed to the India market. The version is same 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage launched in Africa, just that it is available only in two colors of Spark Orange and Ice Jediate, and come with Rs. 7,999 price tag in India, a conversion equivalent of $105 USD.
At the above price, you are getting a 6.60-inch display with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. The display is IPS panel and come with a punch hole notch atop. On the inside, there is a quad-core Mediatek Helio A22 clocked a 2.0GHz, along with PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 2GB of RAM and the aforementioned 32GB internal storage.
It is important to note that Tecno has Pro version of the Spark 5 with better CPU, 4GB RAM and even a larger 64GB internal storage, which might be available in the region on a later date. As for the camera department, the device come with a quad-camera setup of 13-megapixel man snapper, a 2-megapixel portrait lens, 2-megapixel macro lens and a fourth QVGA AI lens, along with four LED flash, while a single 8-megapixel with a single selfie light seats in the hole upfront.
The Spark 5 has a 5000mAh non-removable battery, and runs on HiOS 6.1 based on Android 10 out of the box. It measures 164.70 x 76.30 x 8.75 mm, and come with Bluetooth 5.0 and a micro USB 2.0 port with OTG support. It also come with a rear placed fingerprint scanner, and will be available via Amazon from May 22nd at the above price.
