A tipster revealed that Vivo is working on a new iQOO smartphone and this will be the bigger brother to the iQOO Neo released in July this year.

Let’s get things clear here, Vivo launched it’s first Gaming device in April this year which is the Vivo iQOO. In July this year, they launched a more standard version of the iQOO which is called the iQOO Neo with Snapdragon 845.

Now the tipster revealed that Vivo is working on a more bigger version of the iQOO Neo which will have Snapdragon 855 Chip, it’s Moniker is quite unknown as of now.

According to the tipster, the only differences between the iQOO Neo and this current one is that this new version will come with the Snapdragon 855 Chip unlike it’s predecessor which has Snapdragon 845 Chip.

It also left the 22.5W fast charging on the iQOO Neo and come with a whopping 33W fast charging Technology.

Aside from this, no any other features was changed, it still comes with a Super AMOLED Dotdrop notch display, in-display fingerprint scanner, 4,500mAh battery and pretty much other specs.

For you to get a glimpse of the new upcoming iQOO smartphone, let’s look at the specs of the iQOO Neo.

The iQOO Neo comes with a 6.38-inch Dotdrop notch Super AMOLED display, it’s a Full HD+ display which means it has a resolution of 2340 by 1080 pixels, this device is not that tall, it’s a 19:5:9 aspect ratio device which has a PPI Density of 404, the display looks sleak, it’s an 83.3% screen to body ratio device.

Under the hood, it is powered by Snapdragon 845 Chip which has an Octa core processor clocked at 2.8GHz, it runs on Android 9 pie with Vivo’s FuntouchOS 9.0 slapped on top of it, it has Adreno 630 for graphics or gaming. The processor is also paired with a 64GB 6GB RAM, 64GB 8GB RAM, 128GB 6GB RAM and 128GB 8GB RAM internal storage.

In terms of camera, this device spot a triple rear cameras which includes the 12mp camera with f/1.8 aperture accompanied by a led flash, the other camera is an Ultra wide angle camera which is an 8mp camera with f/2.2 aperture, 2mp depth sensor with f/2.4, on the front, it has a 12mp selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture, both the front and back camera records video in 1080p at 30fps.

The iQOO Neo was offered in two colours which are black and purple. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner and what is keeping the light on is a4, 500mAh Li-Po battery which supports 22.5W fast charging.
