Tecno India have just introduced the Spark 7 just as promised. Unlike other Tecno and even other previous Spark series, this is the first Tecno phone, and a Spark model to sport a uniquely design back with a large Spark label slammed on the rear. It is noteworthy that Tecno is stepping down from the quad-rear camera on the previous Spark 5 and Spark 6 models, to a set of two rear sensors on the Spark 7.
Also, it should be noted that the Spark 7 is distinctively different from the Spark K7 of August 2017. The actual name of that model is Tecno Spark, and the model number is K7. It was the first iteration in the Tecno Spark series, so we can safely refer to that model as Tecno Spark 1, while the new comer is Tecno Spark 7.
The new Spark 7 is actually the direct successor to the Spark 6 of last year, but unlike what you would expect, the Spark 7 is a sort of a downgraded version of Spark 6, except for the battery compartment.
CPU is reduced from Helio G70 on the Spark 6 to Helio A25 on the Spark 7, screen sized got crashed from 6.8-inches dot-display to a 6.52-inches dewdrop screen, RAM begins from 2GB instead of the conventional 4G on the older model, and then, the switch to dual camera sensors instead of four on the older model.
Well, this simply mean two things; first, the new Spark 7 will be cheaper than the Spark 6 (and it is), and secondly we can expect a Spark 7 Pro model with a lot better specs. A Pro model was present on the Spark 1 (1 Pro), 3 (3 Pro), and 5 (5 Pro), but was missing on Spark 2, 4 and 6.

The Spark 7 is currently available in India via Amazon.in. It comes in Magnet Black, Morpheus Blue and Spruce Green colors and priced at Rs. 6,999 and 7,999 for the 2GB RAM + 32GB storage version and 3GB RAM + 64GB storage version respectively, and equivalent of $94 and $107 US Dollars. Sales for both models begins on April 14th in India.
