Vivo has just introduced two new smartphones in China, namely the Vivo Y35+ 5G and Vivo Y35m+ 5G. The duo shares the same model number, (V2279A), and come with identical specifications and designs.
Vivo Y35 Plus 5G
The Vivo Y35+ 5G sports a 6.64-inch IPS LCD panel with a sleek waterdrop notch design. It boasts an FHD+ resolution of 2388 x 1080 pixels, delivering a 19.9:9 aspect ratio.
The device offers a 60Hz refresh rate and a commendable 1400:1 contrast ratio. With a remarkable screen-to-body ratio of 90.89 percent, Vivo ensures an immersive visual experience.
In terms of photography, the Y35+ flaunts an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for capturing stunning selfies. On the rear, it houses a powerful 50-megapixel primary camera complemented by an LED flash. These camera features enable users to capture detailed and vibrant images effortlessly.
The smartphone runs on the Android 13 operating system with Vivo’s customized OriginOS 3.0 on top. For convenient and secure access, the Y35+ incorporates a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood, the Y35+ is powered by the robust Dimensity 6020 chipset. It offers users up to 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Additionally, the device includes a microSD card slot, allowing for expandable storage options.
The Y35+ is equipped with a sizable 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging, ensuring prolonged usage without frequent recharging.
In terms of connectivity, the Y35+ supports dual SIM functionality and 5G network capabilities. It also features Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS for accurate navigation, a USB-C port for seamless data transfer, and a 3.5mm audio jack for headphone connectivity.
The Vivo Y35 Plus 5G comes in Star Black, Nebula Purple, and Lake Blue. It is available in three storage options, which are priced as follows:
- The base variant with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage is priced at 1,399 Yuan ($198).
- The mid-tier option, offering 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, is priced at 1,599 Yuan ($226).
- Lastly, the top-tier variant, which provides 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, is priced at 1,799 Yuan (~$254).
Vivo Y35m Plus 5G
As for the Vivo Y35m+ 5G, it shares the same specifications and features as the Y35+. However, its availability and pricing details have not been disclosed yet. When it becomes available, painting option will also be Star Black, Nebula Purple and Lake Blue.
